CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Southern Utah University men's and women's track and field teams are set to begin their 2024 indoor campaign this Thursday, Jan. 11 at the Smith Fieldhouse, located on the campus of Brigham Young University for the BYU Cougar Invitational.

BYU Cougar Invitational
The meet will take place primarily at the Smith Fieldhouse, with the Weight Throw and Discus Throw being held at BYU's Indoor Practice Facility.Â
The field of competition will feature many familiar foes for the T-Birds, including conference opponents Utah Valley and Utah Tech, and host school BYU, who finished the 2023 Indoor Track & Field season ranked #12 in the men's bracket and #24 in the women's bracket.
The rest of the competition includes Westminster College, Salt Lake Community College, and the College of Southern Idaho.
The three-day contest will begin on Thursday, Jan. 11 at 11:45 am MT with the Women's Pentathlon and conclude on Saturday, Jan. 13 with the Men's 4x400m Relay at 4:35 pm MT.
