CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The Southern Utah University Men's Golf Team closed out the 2023-24 season at the WAC Championship in Payson, Arizona at the Golf Club at Chaparral Pines.
The Thunderbirds finished 11th at +66 as a team.
Rashon Williams had the top finish on the team, shooting rounds of 73, 78, and 75 to finish T27 at +10.
Grand Canyon University defended its WAC title, shooting 12 over par as a team. UTRGV and California Baptist finished tied for second at +13.
Kevin Li of Seattle U shot bookend 69s to claim the individual WAC Championship. Nickly Kling for GCU and Daniel Kronje for UTA finished second and third, shooting -5 and -3, respectively.
