"We have played every preseason and WAC games on the road except for one. We are looking forward to a home stretch of games for the next few weeks."

Southern Utah

The offensive leaders for Southern Utah's Softball team showcase a formidable lineup, with standout performances from several players. Karmyna Becerra leads the pack with a solid .333 batting average, powered by 32 hits, including nine doubles and three home runs. Emily Gonzalez follows closely, boasting a .289 average with 22 hits and two home runs. Ariyana Miranda adds to the offensive attack with a .284 average and an outstanding .934 OPS, hitting eight home runs with 19 RBIs.

The Thunderbirds' pitching corps has been bolstered recently with junior Keimon Winston's return to the circle. Winston leads the charge with a respectable 3.33 ERA and a solid 1.46 WHIP, amassing 26 strikeouts over 33.2 innings pitched. Emily Delgado brings her own brand of dominance despite a 4.43 ERA, with an impressive 59 strikeouts across 85.1 innings of work. Delaney Baker battles fiercely, notching a 5.08 ERA but showcasing resilience with 15 strikeouts in 52.1 innings. The Thunderbirds will look to correct a run of bad luck in this weekend's series against the Wildcats.

Abilene Christian

At the forefront of the Abilene Christian lineup stands Kaydee Bennett, a force to be reckoned with, boasting a blistering .463 batting average and a jaw-dropping 1.290 OPS. Olivia Marble adds her own .414 batting average and an impressive 1.049 OPS to the mix. Not to be outdone, Sammie Shelander emerges as a power hitter, showcasing a .348 batting average with an amazing ten doubles and four home runs, making her a constant threat in the batter's box.

In the circle, Ella Beeman is leading the charge for the Wildcats, boasting a 4.85 ERA and a 1.76 WHIP, while Lina Russo brings her own firepower with a 5.20 ERA and a 1.64 WHIP. Talia Nielsen adds depth to the rotation with a 5.46 ERA and a 1.68 WHIP. Despite challenges, Riley White exhibits determination with a 5.33 ERA and a 2.46 WHIP. Though the team ERA sits at just over five, the Wildcats have some experienced pitchers who throw plenty of strikes.
