FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Rebecca Hazelet of the Southern Utah University track & field program competed in the hammer throw at the NCAA DI Western Regionals on Thursday, May 23, ending in 38th and coming up short on qualifying for Nationals.
Head Coach Eric Houle Said:
"The performance wasn't what she hoped but to compete at this level was a huge accomplishment."
With a throw of 179'9", Hazelet ended the event in 38th place, ahead of competitors from the University of Oklahoma, the University of California, and USC, but completes her season behind the Nationals qualifying mark of 198'1".
