EUGENE, Ore. - Senior runner Hayden Harward of the Southern Utah University track & field team finished his season in the 3000m steeplechase in the NCAA Division I Track & Field National Championships on Wednesday, June 5, taking 20th overall.

"What a great season he had. Moving to the next level always brings some ups and downs but  the experience he gained tonight will benefit him in the future."

With a time of 8:52.35, Harward finishes his season 10th in his group and 20th overall, ahead of competitors from Eastern Kentucky, BYU, and Montana State but short of the finals qualifying mark of 8:33.13.
