The Thunderbirds have a few quality players returning. Whitney Gardner, who was an All-Conference player two seasons ago, will be a redshirt junior this year. She is coming off a season where she led the team in total points, goals, and assists.
Aubrey Murray and Adelayo Oguntade are two holding midfielders with a lot of game-time experience and will sheer up the defensive side of the ball.
Darya Mosallaei, a senior transfer from Ferris State, has won the starting goalkeeper position. She recorded 12 shutouts and 15 wins in a single season at Ferris State.
UNLV Rebels
The Rebels are coming off a 7-7-6 record a season ago, including 1-5-4 at home.
They had three players make the Mountain West Watchlist
Trinity Buchanan - Sophomore
Mallie Ramirez - Junior
Cassie Villanueva - Sophomore
Nevada Wolfpack
The Wolfpack went 6-10-5 in 2023 and ended the year on a four-game losing streak.
Nevada traveled to Cedar City last year, where the Thunderbirds played to a 3-3 tie in the third game of the season.
