CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The Southern Utah University Women's Golf team will tee it up at the Wolverine Invitational for their first tournament of the 2024-25 season.
Head Coach Richard Church said
"We are excited to get the season underway. The team has been working hard, and we are going to have some tough competition."

Tournament: Wolverine Invitational hosted by Utah Valley
When: Sept 8-10
Format: 54 holes over three days. Tee times start at 11:30 a.m. (MT) on Sunday, tee times start at 8 a.m. (MT) on Monday, and a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
Where: Saratoga Spring, Utah
Golf Course: Talons Cove, Par 72, 6,206 yards
Live-Scoring: Clippd (Link will go live at the start of the tournament)
The Field: Southern Utah, Cal State Bakersfield, Cal State Northridge, Idaho State, Lamar, Santa Clara, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, Utah Tech*, Utah Valley*.

The Thunderbirds
Anais Guibal is entering her senior year for the Thunderbirds and is looking to improve on her impressive 76.8 stroke average for 30 rounds last season.
Tijana Jovicevic Kovacic also played in every tournament for the Thunderbirds a year ago and, coming into her second year with the program, is looking to make a consistent impact in the lineup.
Freshmen Siriporn (Orchid) Luangnam from Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, will make her debut for the Thunderbirds.
Sophomore Ellie Olsen has been hard at work in the off-season. After qualifying for nine out of 10 tournaments for SUU a season ago, she will be the number three at the Wolverine Invitational.
Reece Bandemer, starting her sophomore season with the Thunderbirds, will be in the fourth spot for SUU.
Freshman Kirsten Hall from Pearl City, Hawaii, will be making her debut for the Thunderbirds as well, playing as an individual at the Wolverine Invitational.
