Cedar City, Utah- After a week off, the Thunderbird men's and women's track and field teams look to continue their success at the Ron Mann Classic this Friday, Jan. 31.
Head Coach Eric Houle Said:
"The team had a week off and looks forward to NAU and the University of Washington. These are two perfect places to achieve some excellent marks."

The Thunderbirds competed at the Snake River Open in Pocatello, Idaho, two weeks ago.
The women's team had two top-ten finishes in the Pole Vault, with Ariana Baker finishing second with a jump of 12'7.50" and Makenna Skoczylas finishing seventh with a jump of 12'1.5".
Savannah Nielson finished second in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.68. In the 4x400 meter relay, the team of Maya Benjamin, Andie Rasmussen, Jordyn Nielson, and Kimberly Winward finished second with a time of 3:55.22.
In the Pentathlon, Melissa Crane finished fifth overall with a total of 3,195 points.
On the men's side, Davey Newman and Jared Sharp competed in the Heptathlon, with Jared finishing second overall with a total of 4,842 points and Davey finishing seventh overall with a total of 4,164 points. Jared also finished first overall in the 1000-meter run.
Noah Bringhurst finished second overall in the 200-meter race with a time of 21.69. The 4x400 meter relay team of Jaedyn Carpenter, Nick Pembroke, Jared Sharp, and Noah Bringhurst finished first with a time of 3:19.77.
