Cedar City, Utah- Southern Utah University's own Jaedyn Carpenter has been named the WAC men's indoor track athlete of the week.
Coach Eric Houle said:
"Jaedyn has been an outstanding athlete for us, and his performances improve with each passing year, so it's an award well deserved."
Last week at the Ron Mann classic, Carpenter came in first in the 400-meter race with a time of 46.94. Jaedyn also finished second, along with his team, in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:15.56.
This is Jaedyn's first WAC weekly award this season.
