Salt Lake City, Utah- The T-Birds wrapped up a busy weekend at the Utah and Weber State Spring Classic with some impressive finishes.

Men's Recap and Results
Jackson Roybal was the sole competitor for the men's team this weekend. At the Utah Spring Classic, he finished fifth in the javelin throw with a top throw of 172'08".
Women's Recap and Results
The Thunderbirds had a pair of third-place finishes at the Weber State Spring Classic. Savannah Nielson finished third in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.05, while Morgan Blackburn finished third in the discus throw with a top throw of 158'0".Â
Savannah Nielson and Melissa Crane competed in the Heptathlon for the Thunderbirds at the Utah Spring Classic. Savannah Nielson finished first in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.47. Melissa Crane finished second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.50, and she would finish second in the high jump with a top jump of 5'3.75".Â
Jaylee Gandert led the way for the women's team with a first-place finish in the javelin throw with a top throw of 150'08", which is good for second all-time in the women's outdoor record book.Â
Malayna Steffensen would finish second in the 5000-meter run with a time of 18:42.12. Bella Evans again had a top finish for the T-Birds with a second-place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:13.76.Â
