CEDAR CITY, Utah — Southern Utah Head Women's Volleyball Coach Kacey Nady has resigned following four seasons leading the Thunderbirds Volleyball program.
Nady, who took the reins in 2021, helped guide the team through a period of transition that included a move from the Big Sky Conference to the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). The Thunderbirds made steady strides during her tenure, culminating in the 2024 season with a 10-18 overall record and an appearance in the WAC Conference Tournament.
The team also earned national academic recognition from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as one of the top 20 academic programs in the country.
"We're excited to begin the search for a new leader who will continue to elevate our volleyball program," said Director of Athletics Doug Knuth. "This is a great opportunity to identify a coach who can bring a new competitive vision to SUU Volleyball."
A national search for a new leader of our volleyball program will begin immediately.
