CEDAR CITY, Utah — Southern Utah Track and Field will send Jared Sharp, Nathan Anderson, and Lily Collier to Reno, Nevada for the Wolf Pack Classic. Sharp and Anderson will compete in the heptathlon, and Collier will compete in the pentathlon in the two day event.
Head Coach Eric Houle said
"I'm sending three up to Reno to compete in the multi's. It is always a very good competition for them as we start preparing for the conference championship."

Men's Last Time Out
Southern Utah's men delivered another strong showing over two days of competition, highlighted by depth and a series of personal-best performances across distance, middle-distance and sprint events. Amit Cohen led a sweep of PRs in the 3,000 meters with an 8:19.87, followed by Ezra Nelson (8:21.20) and Josh Hernandez (8:36.14), while the mile featured additional personal bests from Richard Crane (4:09), Tyler Saunders (4:11), Cohen (4:18) and Hernandez (4:24). Kadan Allen paced the 800 meters with a personal-best 1:50.65 to rank third all-time in program history, with Saunders posting the No. 10 mark at 1:52.36 and Crane adding a collegiate PR of 1:54.59. In the sprints, the Thunderbirds' 4x400-meter relay won the event to move to No. 3 all-time in SUU indoor history and first in the WAC, while Ashton Miller placed second in the 200 meters and Matthew Hayes recorded a major PR in the 400, both climbing into the WAC's top five as Southern Utah's young roster continued its rapid development.
Women's Last Time Out
Southern Utah's women turned in a strong performance led by personal records and historic marks in the distance events. Bella Evans posted a personal-best 9:40.22 in the 3,000 meters to move to No. 8 on the program's all-time list, while Aspen Hacker impressed in her collegiate debut with a PR of 9:52.57, the fastest freshman debut in program history, and Nixie Killpack added a PR at 9:56.88. The momentum carried into the mile, where Evans (4:54) and Hacker (4:56) each recorded personal-best performances, with Killpack finishing in 5:05 and Taylor Jorgensen clocking 5:17, before Jorgensen added another PR in the 800 meters at 2:19.35. In the hurdles, Sydney Gibson matched the program's 10th-best indoor mark in the 60-meter hurdles to rank seventh in the WAC after altitude conversion, while the women's 4x400-meter relay placed second. In the throws, Kiara Hansen improved her personal best in the weight throw to 53 feet, 1 1⁄4 inches, and freshman Chayanne Gordon moved to No. 7 in SUU history at 52 feet, 5 1⁄4 inches, capping a productive weekend for the Thunderbirds.
