RENO, Nev. – Southern Utah delivered strong results in the multi-events from both its men's and women's performances as the Thunderbirds battled through two days of competition. Jared Shar p and Nathan Anderson represented SUU in the men's heptathlon, while Lily Collier performed as the lone SUU women's competitor.

Track & Field Recap and Results
Southern Utah posted solid multi-event performances, highlighted by Jared Sharp's finish in the men's heptathlon with 2,342 points, while Nathan Anderson followed shortly behind with 1,731 points. Sharp continued a strong performance with excellent marks in the 60-meter dash (7.41 seconds), long jump (5.79 meters), and high jump (1.71 meters). Sharp also threw 10.34 meters in the shot put. Anderson opened with a 7.5- second time in the 60 and added a 5.53-meter long jump, and a 10.80-shot put mark. On the women's side, Lily Collier placed 12th in the pentathlon with 3,078 points, and helped the Thunderbirds with an 806-point performance in the 60-meter hurdles (9.51 seconds), a 1.53-meter high jump, an 8.27-meter shot put, and a 5.05-meter long jump.
