CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The SUU Women's Golf team will be hosting the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational in St. George, Utah, at the Sunbrook Golf Club on March 6-8.
The Thunderbirds are welcoming eight teams and 61 total players to the event.
Head Coach Caylyn McKinlay said
"We are super excited to be hosting this event. Thank you to the teams that signed up, it will be a quality event with some quality teams and individuals participating. Our team is ready to show off their talent and compete in our home event."
Tournament Details
What: The Lady Thunderbird Invitational hosted by Southern Utah University
When: March 6-8
Where: The Sunbrook Golf Club in St. George, Utah. The course is a par 72 that plays 5,914 yards.
Who: Southern Utah*, Idaho State, Utah Valley*, Utah Tech*, Omaha, Loyola Chicago, Wyoming, Stetson, Weber State
Format: Teams will play 18 holes each day, with each round starting with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun.

Last time out at the Babs Steffens Invitational
The SUU Women's Golf team finished 14th out of 16 teams at the Stetson-hosted tournament.
The Thunderbirds were led by Kirsten Hall, who finished in a tie for 52nd, firing rounds of 80, 80, and 82.
Reece Bandemer followed behind in a tie for 61st with a quality second round of 79. Siriporn (Orchid) Luangnam finished 68th and also had a quality second round, shooting 78 in the second round of 18 holes on day one.
Ellie Olsen was T74, and Taylyn Wilson finished T81.
Kiana Roddy competed as an individual and finished 78th.
