CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The SUU Men's Golf team will head to McKinney, Texas, for the final tournament of the season, and the final WAC Men's Golf Championship.
Head Coach Richard Church said
"We have the talent to compete in this tournament, we just need to stay disciplined and remember how to play golf. We have to play one shot at a time, and stay focused on the overall goal."
Tournament Details
What: The WAC Men's Golf Championship
When: April 27-29
Where: McKinney, Texas, at the Stonebridge Ranch Country Club. The course is a par 72 that plays 7,300 yards.
Who: Abilene Christian, California Baptist, Southern Utah, Tarleton State, UT Arlington, Utah Tech, Utah Valley
Format: The teams will play 18 holes on each of the three days. Each team will have five players competing, and will count the top four scores. Coaches will be able to substitute one player in the lineup before each round.

The top four for the Thunderbirds have been excellent all season long. Uy Doan leads the Thunderbirds with a 72.4 scoring average through 30 rounds played. Braylon Bingham isn't far behind with a 73.5 scoring average, and Charlie Gillespie averages 74.2 strokes per round.
Jarell Wang averages 75.7 to round out the top four. Luke Barnes averages 78.5, and Sky Moon is just under 80 strokes per round.
Doan leads the team with four top-10 finishes on the year, including a T8 and a T5 in two of his last three tournaments.
