CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The SUU Soccer team is hosting CSUN for its final non-conference home game on Sunday and will honor three seniors before the match. Ashtyn Ivey, Nao Yasuda, and Kayleigh Acree will be recognized for their time and efforts in the SUU Soccer Program.
Head Coach Steven Lindquist said
"Excited for another opportunity to compete at home. It is always great to host a challenging opponent and I am looking forward to seeing our team rise to the challenge of another Big West opponent this weekend."

The Thunderbirds
SUU is coming off a lopsided victory over Justice University last time out and will look to build on the positive momentum on senior day.
The T-Birds scored 18 goals in the win over Justice, led by Ashtyn Ivey, who recorded a hat trick, and Gracen Blieschke, who scored a brace and had two assists.
Blieschke leads the team with nine points; she has 20 total shots and 11 on goal. Kayleigh Acree is next on the team with 11 shots and six on target.
Nao Yasuda, Rylan Tebbs and Ashlyn Woodbury lead the team in minutes played, with each logging over 500 minutes so far.
Freshman goalkeeper Tatum Trout has played the most minutes in goal for the Thunderbirds. Logging 20 saves on a 69% SV%.
The Matadors
CSUN checks in a 2-4-2 on the year, with a 4-2 victory over Utah Tech last time out. They also beat Big Sky opponent Idaho State 1-0, but lost to BSC opponent Idaho 0-1.
Yasmin Azar leads the team with six points on the year, with two goals and two assists. Ariana Lopez-angel has five points, with two goals and an assist, and Jordyn Canister has four points, with two goals scored.
Hayden Mauldin is the only goalkeeper to see action this year, and she has been excellent. Recording 54 saves and maintained a 79% save percentage. She has a 1.75 GAA and has two shutouts.
