CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The Thunderbirds welcome NCCAA opponent Justice University to Cedar City and came away with an 18-0 victory. It is the first home win of the year for the Thunderbirds and puts an end to a three-game losing skid.

The Thunderbirds scored early and often in the match against Justice University.
Sophia Memory got things started with a nifty move through multiple defenders and firing a rocket into the back of the net just four minutes in.
In the seventh minute, Halle Cowan found a goal of her own, and then in the 14th minute, Karolina Jasaityte finished off a beautiful header from a set-piece corner kick that was the highlight of the game.
Ashlyn O'Malley and Brooklyn Bradley each scored a goal just two minutes apart, and then Gracen Blieschke joined in on the scoring action with back-to-back goals.
By the time the first-half buzzer sounded, the T-Birds had an 11-0 lead over the Lions.
Sofia Alcorn and Ashtyn Ivey had a pair of goals in the second half, and Ivey finished the game with a hat trick.
Stella Luts found the back of the net one more time for SUU in the 89th minute, and the match closed at 18-0.

Blieschke led the team with five shots, three on target and two in the back of the net. She also logged two assists in 33 minutes of action.
Ashtyn Ivey led the team with three goals on the match, with Ashlyn O'Malley adding two and Alcorn adding a pair.
Keira Barker led the team with three assists on the day.
13 different Thunderbirds scored a goal, and 10 different Thunderbirds recorded an assist.
Tatum Trout, Madi Ejgird and Kailtin Bustos all combined for the clean sheet.

The T-Birds will be back in action a week from today on the Thunderbird Soccer Field, playing host to CSUN. The match is on Sunday, September 13, at 1:00 p.m. It will be senior night for the Thunderbirds, so come out and cheer on the amazing seniors.
