CEDAR CITY, Utah -- Southern Utah's Jake Vincent has been selected to compete at the Stanford Regional to be held at Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, California, as his season continues into NCAA Regional competition.

Vincent qualified for Regionals by claiming the Big Sky Conference Individual Championships last weekend at Boulder Creek Golf Club. That marked Vincent's second victory of the season, as he also picked up a win at SUU's Pizza Hut-Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational.

The junior from Palm Desert, California, became the first Thunderbird to earn a Big Sky Championship and an automatic berth to the postseason. He is the fourth golfer in the history of the program to qualify for the postseason.  

NCAA Regionals takes place from May 13-15.
