CHENEY, Wash. -- The Southern Utah University women's tennis team traveled to Washington where they were topped by the Eastern Washington Eagles 0-7. The team also faced the University of Idaho where they fell 1-6.

Jessica Stefan competed in singles play against the Eagles' Zoey Nelson in Washington where she fell in a hard fought match 3-6, 6-4, 5-10. In doubles play, Stefan paired with Daniela Cozzi where the duo was defeated 1-6.

In Idaho, Georgia Hosking topped the competition in singles play 6-4, 3-6, 6-4. Alexandra Ngo battled Idaho's Andjela Todorovic but ultimately fell 6-7, 3-6.

The Thunderbirds were topped by the Vandals 1-6.

The team looks to compete next against Dixie State on Tuesday, March 10.
