BOULDER CITY, Nev. - The Southern Utah women's golf team wrapped up round two at The Clash at Boulder Creek Monday afternoon and currently sit in 15th place with one round left to play.
As a team, the Thunderbirds have a combined score of 623 after shooting a 315 on Monday and a 308 on Sunday to open the tournament.
Chanikan (Pluem) Yongyuan shot a five-over 77 in round two after shooting a one-under 71 in round one and currently sits in a tie for 13th place individually at a combined four-over.
Tanyatorn (Excel) Thalangkarn shot a seven-over 79 in her second round after shooting a six-over 78 in round one and currently sits in a tie for 61st place. Anais Gubal shot a six-over 78 on Monday after shooting an eight-over 80 on Sunday and currently sits in a tie for 70th place.
Cornelia Karlsson shot a nine-over 81 in round two after shooting a seven-over 79 in round one and currently sits in a tie for 84th place. Tori Thomas currently sits in a tie for 90th place after shooting a nine-over 81 in both rounds.
Elizabeth Hair, playing as an individual, currently sits in a tie for 78th place after shooting a 78 in round one and an 81 in round two.
UNLV sits in first place after two rounds, shooting 584 (297, 287) as a team. The Rebels' Veronica Joels sits atop the individual leaderboard at five-under with a 139 (70, 69).
The Thunderbirds will play the third and final round tomorrow with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start.
