CEDAR CITY, Utah -- Southern Utah University Men's Golf team signs another new recruit on 2023 signing day.

Talen Turnaugh -- Castle Rock, CO

High School - Douglas County

Accomplishments - 
- Second team All-State Sophomore year.
- First team All-Conference Junior year.
- Finished second at the Hurricane Fall junior open in 2021 shooting 75-76.
- Placed 4th at high school Regionals sophomore year shooting 71.
- Finished 3rd at the Colorado Junior Player Series championship shooting 74-70.
- Won the COPGA jr event at Boomerang Links with a 69 in May 2023.
- Won the 2023 Colorado State Junior Championship qualifier shooting 72.
- T19 in stroke play at the 2023 state Junior shooting 72-73.
- Academic all-state honorable mention senior year.
