SANTA BARBARA, Calif – The UC Santa Barbara Collegiate was cut short due to excessive fog on the course. Round two was suspended on day one after the competing teams had played just a few holes. Round two was then completed on day two, but with multiple teams needing to catch flights home, it was decided there wouldn't be enough time to play a third round. Therefore ending the tournament after just two rounds of play.

The Thunderbirds
Rashon Williams is peaking at the right time for the Thunderbirds. Tying his season-best finish of T23, Williams is poised to place well at the WAC Championship Tournament. After being eight over par through his first 10 holes of the tournament, Williams was able to battle back and finish the first round at six over 78. Round two saw four birdies and a two over par 74 finish, putting him in a tie for 23rd, +8 for the tournament.
Mitchell Abbott had his worst round this season in round one, shooting a 10 over par 82. But like Abbott has done all year, played consistently in round two shooting just one over par, and ultimately finished T34 on the tournament.
Jaxon Long played two decent rounds of golf with a nine over 81 in round one, followed by an eight over 80 in round two. Would finish the tournament with just three total birdies and a tie for 50th.
The next time the T-Birds tee it up will be at the WAC Championship Tournament in Boulder City, Nevada at the Boulder Creek Golf Club April 28-30. Live stats will be available throughout the tournament.
