KANSAS CITY, Mo – The SUU soccer team has been recognized by the United Soccer Coaches Association for its excellence in the classroom. One of just 500 women's teams to earn the award. 

United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.

Kai Edwards and his team maintained a 3.51 cumulative grade point average during the 22-23 academic year.
