SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah -- Natcharee (Irene) Thanchitnithithanya went five-under-par in round three to propel herself to a solo second finish at eight-under-par total at the Big Sky Title IX Women's Golf Tournament.
Irene led the entire field in total birdies throughout the tournament with 18, including eight in the final round. She also had the second-best scoring average on par-5's with a 4.53 average score for the tournament. Solo second is Irene's best finish as a Thunderbird.
Tanyatorn (Excel) Thalangkarn also finished in the top 10 with a T7 finish at three-under-par. Excel had her best round on the final day, shooting a two-under-par 70 in round three.
The Thunderbirds finished solo fifth as a team at 10 over par, with rounds of 300, 282, and 292.
Tijana Kovacic finished T48 at +9 and Anais Guibal was T73 at +19. Ellie Olsen finished T80, Cornelia Karlsson T83, and Reece Bandemer 85th.
