CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The Thunderbird Men's Golf team will compete in the Bill Cullum Invitational, hosted by California State University—Northridge (CSUN), from Monday, October 7, to Tuesday, October 8.
Head Coach Richard Church said
"This will be another opportunity to test ourselves by playing a tough golf course and prepare ourselves for conference season."

When: October 7-8
Where: The Saticoy Golf Club in Somis, California -- Par 72, 7,008 yards
Who: CSU San Marcos, Southern Utah, Stanislaus State, UC Riverside, Weber State and CSUN
Format: 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday

The Thunderbirds
SUU will travel nine players to participate in the event, with five players eligible to count for the team score and four players competing as individuals.Â
Colton Cherry will lead off for the Thunderbirds, coming off a team-high finish a week ago. Sophomore Charlie Gillespie will be in the two spot and freshman Jing-Cheng (Jarell) Wang will be in the three. Atthasit (Anfield) Srichun is making his season debut, and Leo Torres is back in the Thunderbirds lineup.Â
Sky Moon, Troy Mason, Luke Barnes, and Talen Turnbaugh will compete as individuals.Â
