SAN DIEGO, Calif -- Men's Golf finishes T13, +30, at the UC San Diego Invitational at historic Torrey Pines. 

Rashon Williams finished T14 at the tournament, shooting +2 overall. 

North Dakota State won the team event, shooting a combined seven under par. The University of Idaho finished second at +2, and Oklahoma Christian was third at +4.

Jack Johnson from North Dakota State won medalist at the event, shooting eight under par, Johannes Hounsgaard finished second at -5, and Blake McGovern from UCSB finished third at -4. 

The team shot 26 over par on the first day and then a combined four over par on the final two days. Day one saw winds of 20+ miles per hour. 

Williams shot a final-round 70 to propel him to a top-20 finish. He made three clutch birdies on his final nine holes to give him a two-under-par final round. 

Mitchell Abbott had a stellar second round, shooting four under par 68. He had seven total birdies on day two, including two in his final three holes, ultimately finishing the tournament at T24. 

Colton Cherry also had a four-under-par round on the final day, gaining 17 spots to finish T58. 

"Our second and third days were really positive. We had some guys score well for us, which is what we need. And then just put it together for three full rounds," said Head Coach Richard Church.
