CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The SUU Men's Golf team is heading to Boulder City, Nevada to play in the 2025 Jackrabbit Invitational hosted by South Dakota State at the Boulder Creek Golf Club.

Head Coach Richard Church said

"We are excited for this tournament because it's the first tournament of the year that doesn't have P4 teams participating or high-major teams, so our guys are ready to go out and compete."

Tournament Details

What: 2025 Jackrabbit Invitational hosted by South Dakota State

When: March 7-8, 7:00 a.m. PT shotgun start.

Where: Boulder City, Nevada

Course: Boulder Creek Golf Club. Par-72, 7,402 yards.

Who: South Dakota State,  Embry-Riddle, Niagara, North Dakota, Northern Iowa, Saint Francis (PA), Southern Utah,  USC-Upstate, Western Illinois, Youngstown State.

Format: 54-holes over two days. The teams will play 36 holes on Friday, and 18 holes on Saturday.

The Thunderbirds

Torres is coming off the best tournament of his career, finishing at one under par and in a tie for 21st. He shot a career low four-under par in the first round.

Rashon Williams has been very consistent for SUU this Spring and will look to continue that play in the No. 2 spot in the lineup. Charlie Gillespie has five rounds this year at even par or better, and will need to have a quality tournament for SUU.

Wang has been playing really good golf in qualifying and is a young player that is looking to transfer that quality play into a tournament setting. Boston Dixon never quits, regardless of how the round is going or what score he makes on a particular hole, he will continue to battle. Luke Barnes is playing as an individual for the second week in a row.
