CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- Sophia Memory and Karolina Jasaityte have signed to join Head Coach Kai Edwards and the Southern Utah University Women's Soccer Team.

Sophia Memory

Hometown: Vista, California

High School: Mission Vista High School

Club Team: City SC

Previous School: San Jose State

Position: Midfielder

Height: 5'1

Accolades: 2024 Mountain West Scholar Athlete, Attended US National Team Camps consecutively for five years. National Cup Winner and led the team in assists, played ECNL for SD Surf while taking two league titles.

Head Coach Kai Edwards said

"Sophia possesses an exceptional first touch and a top-notch final pass. Her versatility in playing both the #10 and #8 positions will enhance our midfield combination play as well as positioning our frontrunners in more advantageous positions to score goals. Having competed for two of the top clubs in the country in San Diego Surf ECNL and City SC GA, and with her experience competing in the Mountain West, we are confident that she will aid in unlocking the final 1/3 of the field for SUU. "

Karolina Jasaityte

Hometown: Vilnius, Lithuania

High School: Vilnius Ozas Gymnasium

Club Team: FK TransInvest

Previous School: University of Oregon

Position: Defender

Height: 6'0

Notably, she is one of the few players who have captained both their youth and full national teams. Karolina's exceptional soccer background is evident in her meticulous study of the game and extensive self driven film analysis. Her experience in the Big 10 will undoubtedly equip her with the necessary resilience to excel in the WAC."
