CEDAR CITY, Utah – Southern Utah University Women's Soccer has officially released its 2025 regular season schedule, featuring a challenging and competitive slate of matches both in and out of Western Athletic Conference (WAC) play.
The Thunderbirds will compete in 18 regular-season matches this fall, including nine games at home at The Thunderbird Soccer Field and nine on the road, with several key non-conference battles and a full WAC campaign leading into the postseason.
Head Coach Kai Edwards said
"The fall of 2025 could not come soon enough.  The team is super excited to get back on the field and push the boundaries of what's possible. Our season starts at the University of Montana and Eastern Washington, where we'll face tough opponents from the top of the Big Sky Conference. Then, we'll move on to play against top Mountain West teams like Boise State and a top Summit League team in Denver, along with other tough opponents on our schedule. The double round robin format in the WAC is a bit different from college soccer, where repeat matches are rare during the regular season, but this team will have five of those. You can expect to see the team's unwavering competitiveness, dedication, and hunger on the field. They're going to be a dynamic TEAM and that will be evident day one!"
