SUU Vball Adds Lehi's Mikayla Dunford to 2012-13 Signing Class

CEDAR CITY, Utah - Southern Utah University volleyball head coach Debby Baker has announced the signing of Mikayla Dunford (Lehi HS) to the 2012-13 signing class.

Dunford was a four-year letter winner for the Pioneers, helping LHS to three region titles and a second-place finish at the state championships in 2012. She was a two-time all-state and three-time first-team all-region honoree and the 2012 Daily Herald Utah Valley Volleyball Player of the Year.

Dunford joins Taylor Heine (Georgetown, Texas/Georgetown HS), who signed in Decmber, on the list of 2012-13 signees for the Thunderbirds. Southern Utah will open its 2012 season Aug. 24-25, facing the University of Utah, Portland and Utah State in a tournament hosted by the Aggies in Logan.
