LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Southern Utah University men's tennis only captured six games in a 7-0 loss at UNLV on Monday. The loss leaves the T-Birds winless on the year with an 0-8 record.

Spencer Nielsen earned two of Southern Utah's six games in his singles match at No. 5, losing to Willie Sublette, 6-1, 6-1. Freshmen Troy Benson and Bryton Wells took another third of the games in an 8-2 loss at No. 1 doubles.

SUU will return home for its next matches in a pair of Big Sky Conference contests on Wednesday and Thursday. The Thunderbirds are scheduled to host Eastern Washington and Idaho State.
