OGDEN, Utah -- After a four match win streak, the Thunderbirds were brought down by the Boise State University Broncos on Saturday in Ogden, 7-0.
For the T-Birds, the only win in the doubles competition was pulled off by Charity Sagiao and Zoe Tanti in the No. 3 spot, beating out Boise State 6-4.
In the singles competition, Eira Tobrand fought a good fight but lost in a close contest 6-4, 6-3 to Kantenwein of Boise State.
After the match, head coach Rose Ketmayura commented, "In doubles we competed hard and it was really close. We almost took the doubles point, but it came down to some points here and there."
The Lady Thunderbirds are going to gear up for their next matches in the beginning of March against Idaho State University and Weber State University.
Start Time
The next match will be on Saturday, March 3 at 10 a.m. in Pocatello, Idaho against Idaho State University.
On Sunday, March 4 at 9 a.m. they will compete in Ogden against Weber State University.
