CEDAR CITY, Utah -- The Southern Utah University Thunderbird men's tennis team is set to debut the 2020 spring season with a three match weekend in Colorado. The T-Birds will face Colorado State University Pueblo, Metropolitan State University of Denver and USAF Academy.

Opponent Preview: Colorado State University Pueblo

Colorado State University Pueblo will be competing for the first time in the spring season as they face the Thunderbirds. 

In the 2019 campaign, the Wolves finished the season 3-16 overall. 

The Thunderbirds last faced the Wolves in 2019 where they claimed the victory 7-0.

Opponent Preview: Metropolitan State University of Denver

Metropolitan State University of Denver will also be debuting their 2020 spring campaign with competition against the Thunderbirds.

The Roadrunners finished the 2019 season 9-8 overall. 

The teams last met in 2019 where the Thunderbirds won over the Roadrunners 7-0.

Opponent Preview: USAF Academy

The Thunderbirds will also be facing the USAF Academy Falcons. This will be the Falcons' first competition of 2020.

In 2019, the Falcons closed out the season 12-13 overall and 1-6 in the Mountain West Conference.

The Falcons last faced the T-Birds in 2019 where they were victorious over Southern Utah finishing the match 4-3.
