CEDAR CITY, Utah -- The Southern Utah University Thunderbird women's tennis team will be competing in St. George, Utah on Friday, February 21 against Western New Mexico University.

Last Time Out

The T-Birds last competed against Portland State University for their first conference match. The women fell 0-7 against the Vikings.

Daniela Cozzi started singles play strong, but ultimately fell to Portland's Jacinta Milenkoski 7-5, 0-6, 0-1.

In doubles play, Georgia Hosking and Jessica Stefan faced Milenkoski and Eszter Zador where they were topped 6-3.

Opponent Preview 

Western New Mexico University currently sits 3-0 in the 2020 spring season. The Mustangs closed the 2019 campaign 8-15.

This is the first time the T-Birds have been matched up against the Mustangs.
