ERIE, COLORADO -- The SUU Men's Golf team concluded 54 holes of play at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitation in Erie, Colorado, at the Colorado National Golf Club.
Head Coach Richard Church said
"We had some younger guys get some experience good tournament experience this week, and it should help us improve as we move further into the season."

The Thunderbirds were led by Colton Cherry, who finished T78 after rounds of 75, 74, and 73. Young sophomore Charlie Gillespie finished second for SUU, finishing T91 at +10.
Freshman Jing-Cheng (Jarell) Wang finished 99th at +15 in his debut for the Thunderbirds. Donovan Barnes was 101st at +19, and freshman Sky Moon finished 104th at +23.
