ST. GEORGE, UTAH -- The Thunderbirds compete hard but finish fourth at the Pizza Hut Utah Collegiate Shootout in St. George, Utah at the Sunbrook Golf Club.
Head Coach Richard Church said
"The team competed hard, it is always fun to play in front of some friends and family and that is what they got to do."

The Thunderbirds
Donovan Barnes had an excellent tournament, finishing at one-under par after rounds of 72 and 71. He lead the team with a T10 finish.
Charlie Gillespie had the next-best finish after shooting one down in the first round and a +3, 75 in round two. He wrapped up 36 holes in a tie for 16th.
Luke Barnes, who played as an individual, finished tied for 18th at +4, with a quality 73 in the first round.
Boston Dixon, Leo Torres, Rashon Williams, and Troy Mason finished T21, T21, 23rd, and 24th, respectively.

That concludes the Fall Season for the SUU Men's Golf team. They will start the Spring Season and championship season at the Vanharte Orange County Collegiate Classic on February 10 and 11.
