CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The SUU Men's Golf Team is set to tee it up at the 2025 Vanharte Orange County Collegiate Classic. UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton will co-host the tournament.
Head Coach Richard Church said
"This is a good opportunity for us to see where we are at headed into the spring season. There are some good teams in the field so it will be a challenge for the team."
Tournament Details
Tournament: 2025 Vanharte Orange Country Collegiate Classic
Host: UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton
Course: Coto de Caza South Course – Coto de Caza, Calif. Par 72 – 6,950 yards
When: February 10 and 11
Format: The teams will play 36 holes on Monday, February 10, with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m., followed by 18 holes on Tuesday, February 11.
Field: British Columbia, Cal State Fullerton, Gonzaga, Sacramento State, Southern Utah, St. John's, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, Weber State

Sophomore Charlie Gillespie led the team through the fall season with a scoring average of 74.9 through 11 rounds.
Donovan Barnes wasn't far behind at a 75.7 stroke average through eight rounds. He is also coming off a team-high T10 finish at the Utah Collegiate Shootout in October 2024.
