CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The SUU Men's Golf team is prepared to take on the WAC Championship tournament in Payson, Arizona at the Golf Club at Chaparral Pines.
Head Coach Richard Church said
"This is where we get to showcase what we have been working on all year long. It is a challenging course but there are opportunites to score. The team is prepared and excited."

SUU finished at +47 as a team last time out, shooting rounds of 304, 303, and 304.
Rashon Williams led the Thunderbirds, firing an opening round of two under par 70 that led him to a T48 finish. Leo Torres had the next-best finish for SUU, coming in at T109, shooting rounds of 77, 75, and 79.Â
Charlie Gillespie had a quality final round of 75 to finish at T111, Barnes wasn't far behind at T114, and Jing-Cheng (Jarell) Wang finished 118.
The Thunderbirds are averaging just under 300 strokes as a team per round this season, with Gillespie leading the team individually at a 74.6 stroke average.
