The 1981-82 Southern Utah State College Volleyball Team set the precedent for volleyball excellence in Cedar City.  The team finished in fourth place in the NAIA circuit, and finished the season 28-13 overall.  More impressive, the team finished 11-0 at home, ending the season with a perfect record on the campus of Southern Utah State College.
