Sorensen stands as a true pioneer in Southern Utah Football history.  Sorensen cemented his legacy as the first T-Bird to be drafted into the NFL when the San Diego Chargers selected him in the 7th round of the 2013 NFL Draft.  His remarkable talent and dedication to the game were further underscored by his consecutive nominations as a Walter Payton Award Finalist in 2012 and 2013.  Sorensen's legacy at Southern Utah University is further enshrined by his status as the all-time leader in career total plays, total yards, completions, yards and touchdown passes upon his graduation. His unwavering commitment to the sport and his record-breaking achievements continue to inspire, showcasing his enduring impact on the Southern Utah Football program.
