Paopao held SUU career records for pass attempts, completions, passing yards, total yards and total plays as well as single-season records for pass attempts, completions, passing yards and passing touchdowns.  He was selected Second-Team NAIA All-American in 1970 and finished his career with 2,990 all-purpose yards and passed for another 3,215 yards.
