Evans shares a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted connection to Southern Utah University's golf program, having dedicated many years to coaching SUU's team.  His coaching prowess extends beyond the collegiate level, with 10 years of intermittent coaching at Cedar High School, where he guided his team to two state golf championships.  As a distinguished member of the PGA of America and former president of the Utah section of the PGA, Evans' influence in the world of golf is undeniable.  With an impressive tenure of more than 30 years as the Director of Gold at Cedar Ridge, he has become a fixture in the local golfing community.  Evans led Southern Utah in its transition to becoming a Division I program.  Evans, alongside his wife, Pam, has raised a loving family of six children, and in retirement, he continues to savor the joys of life, and will always be a permanent fixture in the history of Southern Utah Golf.
