Adams was named to the RMAC Hall of Fame.  While at SUU, Adams was a First Team All-American in 1984 and 1985 as well as First Team All-Conference in 1983.  He also earned an RMAC Individual Title in 1984 and was named First Team All-RMAC in 1984.  He was named SUU Player of the Year four times as well.
