Regarded as the best gymnast in the history of the program, Wheeler's accolades include Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year, 2009 & 2010 NCAA North Central Regio0n Gymnast of the Year, 2009 & 2010 WAC Gymnast of the Year, and was a part of the 2010 WAC Championship Team.  Wheeler made three consecutive NCAA Championship appearances in the all-around, where she finished 12th her senior year.  Upon induction, Wheeler held the top four all-around scores in the history of the program with a top score standing at 39.575. Wheeler earned All-American status on bars, beam, and floor during her junior season.
